Ninni
Pacifiers

Ninni Pacifiers are a soft, 100% silicone pacifier with a wide base to help promote the same oral movement and function that is required in breast/chest feeding. If your goal is to exclusively breast/chest feed, it is recommended to wait until your baby is at least 4 weeks old before introducing any artificial nipple.  This ensures that your baby has time to master their feeding skills, and to help you establish a healthy milk supply. These pacifiers may also be beneficial for some babies who require suck training after a frenectomy (tongue tie release).  Please book a consultation with Pamela for guidance with this.

Lactation Support Group

Breastfeeding Group (1).jpeg

Join the Comox Valley Lactation Support Group! Meet other parents, ask Pamela a question and stay updated on upcoming in-person support group gatherings in the fall of 2022.

Parents-to-be and parents who are currently breast/chest feeding are welcome to attend free of charge.  The meetings provide a safe space to express concerns and frustrations or joys and triumphs with a Certified Birth Doula, Lactation Counselor and Childbirth Educator.

Topics will vary at each meeting but will also allow time for parents to have group conversations or receive one-on-one support and help from Pamela in whatever challenges or curiosities they are facing at the time. Conversations usually segue into all things postpartum, so if you are not in need of lactation support, please come for the conversation and/or as peer support for other parents in the Comox Valley!

Contact Pamela for more information.
