Preparing for breast/chest feeding during pregnancy
Addressing latch issues and nipple pain
Overcoming mastitis and clogged ducts
Address supply issues
Support in expressing milk
Feeding Multiples or in tandem with an older child
Initial Consultations: $50
Subsequent Consultations: $40
*At this time, appointments must be virtual until BCCDC has deemed it safe to enter others' homes. Thank you for your understanding.
"I contacted Pamela for her lactation counselling services and was so pleased I did! Not only did she have a ton of knowledge about breastfeeding, she also has an incredibly kind and compassionate approach. With her support we were able to sort out my breastfeeding difficulties and things have been going so much better since!"

Lactation Support Goup
In-person Lactation support groups are held on the second Friday of each month throughout the winter, January to May, at Vancouver Island Regional Library - Courtenay Branch from 12pm-2pm as safety allows. Please join the Facebook Group for updates.
Parents-to-be and parents who are currently breast/chest feeding are welcome to attend on a drop-in basis, free of charge. The meetings provide a safe space to express concerns and frustrations or joys and triumphs with a Certified Birth Doula and Breastfeeding Counselor. Topics will vary each week but will also allow time for parents to have group conversations or receive one-on-one support and help with Pamela in whatever challenges or curiosities they are facing at the time.
In-person meetings have been put on hold due to COVID-19.
Please join the Facebook Group and/or sign up for the email list below for updates.
