A lactation counselor (breast/chest feeding counselor) provides people with education & support when they are having difficulties breastfeeding or chestfeeding their baby. First Appointment
In Home Initial Lactation Consultation: This consult will provide information and support to parents who are experiencing difficulty feeding their baby. Appointments are 1 hour long and include a follow-up email if needed. $110
In Clinic Lactation Consultation: Pamela works out of Vancouver Island Osteopathy - Courtenay Clinic on Wednesdays. Meet there to gain information and support with your difficulties in feeding your baby. Appointments are 1 hour long and include a follow-up email if needed. $90
Virtual Initial Lactation Consultation: Meet Pamela on-line to gain information and support with your difficulties in feeding your baby. Appointments are 1 hour long and include a follow-up email if needed. $85
Subsequent Appointment
In-Home Subsequent Lactation Consultation: This consultation will provide follow-up support to those who have seen Pamela already and would like help in addressing any changes that have come up. Appointments are 45 min long and include a follow-up email if needed. $100
Virtual Subsequent Lactation Consultation: This online consultation will provide follow-up support to those who have seen Pamela already and would like help in addressing any changes that have come up. Appointments are 45 min long and include a follow-up email if needed. $75

Mini Follow-up Phone Appointment: Don't need a full 30 minutes? This 15 minute follow-up phone appointment will answer any quick questions you may have. $15
Prenatal Appointments

This consultation will provide information and support to those who are expecting a baby and would like help with preparing to breast/chest feed their baby. Appointments are 30 minutes and include flange fitting, handouts, and 1 week of email support. support as needed. $50
