At Sound Birth Services we are committed to providing compassionate guidance and support during the profound transition to parenthood. Owner Pamela Tessmann is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Childbirth Educator, and former doula who has an extensive background in Early Childhood Care and Education. With over 20 years of experience, we feel that support is everything during this time. Our infant feeding support, and prenatal classes and workshops are rooted in evidence-based practices, skilled training and experience, but most of all great care and trust.

I am a passionate and experienced International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Childbirth Educator, and former Doula with a decade of dedicated practice. Prior to my work in lactation consulting and childbirth support, I spent many years as an Early Childhood Educator, fostering a deep understanding of child development and family dynamics.
My compassionate approach and wealth of knowledge make me a trusted ally for families seeking guidance and support during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

I have 2 boys of my own - one born in hospital, one born at home. When I'm not working, I am skiing, biking, hiking, boating or camping with my family.
